4th Of JuLy

For the 4th...Brian and I spent the weekend in Burley. Friday I spent time with my grandparents. Then that night we celebrated Braxton's Baptism and had dinner at Tyler and Jolynne's. We are very proud of him! Saturday we went to the Hurst family reunion and had a bbq. Then later we went to the river with my mom and Gerald and took the boat out. That night we went up to Twin Falls with my family and celebrated the 4th at my aunt Becky's house. The fireworks were awesome!

1 wHoLe YeAr...

Brian and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary! You never realize how fast time goes by until you are sitting there looking back on the past. We have made it through a year of marriage and I am looking forward to the many many more years to come! One thing for sure is marriage is definatley not easy...there are many ups and downs and twists and turns. Often compaired to a rollercoaster ride...and yes...its most definatley worth the ride.

We celebrated by going to Utah. We spent two days in Lagoon. We had an awsome time riding the rides and going to the water park! Then drove to Logan and stayed in the Anniversary Inn. Our room was amamzing! And while we were there we got to see the Logan Temple (where we plan on getting sealed).

mEmOrIaL wEeKeNd...

Its a family tradition for my moms side of the family to go camping on Memorial weekend. This year not everyone was able to go but Brian and I went as well as my mom, Gerald, Spencer, Katie, my girl Cha, and a few cousins and thier friends. We got up to Sublet friday night. Spent all day saturday riding four wheelers, taking walks and hikes, and exploring the outdoors. The weather was beautiful. We had a good time!

FiShInG wItH gRaNdPa StOkEr...

Last saturday, the day before mother's day, Grandpa Stoker took Brian and I out on his boat to lake walcot to go fishing! We got there around 10am and stayed until almost 4pm. It was a lot of fun getting to go out in the sunshine and just relax on the boat while grandpa told us some funny fishing stories he has had. I was really hoping to catch my first fish but as the day went on we weren't having much luck. And after all that time out there...we caught absolutley nothing except a sunburn...but I'm not gonna give up.

HaPpY bIrtHdAy BrIaN!

Brian's birthday was on Cinco de Mayo! We just had to celebrate it with some good ol' mexican food! I took Brian to a resturant in Kuna called El Gallo Giro...or something like that...we had never been there before but I was told they had the best mexican food. And I was told right...it was delicious! They had a live band and they sang Brian happy birthday and even let him keep the sombrero...haha...it was a lot of fun! I made Brian a special birthday cake...his moms recipe that he loves! And to my surprise it actually turned out almost as good as his moms!

hApPy MoThEr'S dAy!

For Mother's day, Brian and I woke up extra early and cooked my mom breakfast. Then we went to a bbq for lunch and later on in the day Brian and I went over to my grandma's house and had a bbq for dinner. It was a beautiful day! We were sad though because we didn't get to see Brian's mom but she knows we love her! I am trully blessed to have such a wonderful mother, mother in law, and grandmothers!
